How does the PF-1 toilet work?
The PF-1 toilet is a waterless portable toilet that uses a manual wrapping system to seal waste and odors in. The system works by using a lever to activate the thermocompression bonding to hermetically seal the waste bag after each use, creating a watertight seal. The film is then ready to be disposed of leaving the waste contained and odor-free.
Do I have to change/empty the plastic bag after each use?
After the waste bag film has been sealed, you must remove the bag and dispose of it. You can then reinstall the waste bag film for the next use. It is important to dispose of the waste bags properly to prevent the spread of disease. You should never flush the waste bags down the toilet, as this can clog the pipes. You should also avoid leaving the waste bags out in the open, as this can attract insects and animals.
