Waterless Portable Toilets
A waterless portable toilet handles waste without any water, plumbing or chemical holding tank. Wrappon does it by sealing each use inside an odour-barrier film package that goes into ordinary trash — no black tank, no dump station, no liquid to carry.
How it worksFour steps
- Sit. A full-size, comfortable seat.
- Press. One button starts the wrap cycle.
- Seal. Coagulant solidifies the waste, barrier film wraps it, and heat seals the package airtight.
- Dispose. The sealed package goes into a standard trash bin.

Common questionsPlain answers
What is a waterless portable toilet?
A portable toilet that needs no water supply, plumbing or sewage connection. Wrappon models use a coagulant and heat-sealed barrier film instead of a flush and holding tank.
How is this different from a chemical toilet?
A chemical or cassette toilet stores liquid waste that has to be carried to a dump point. Wrappon seals each use into a solid, odor-locked package that goes into ordinary trash.
Does it need water or plumbing?
No. Wrappon is completely waterless and needs no plumbing, water supply or sewage connection.
Do Wrappon toilets have a built-in battery?
No. They run on AC power, with DC cables and rechargeable battery packs sold separately for vehicle and off-grid use.
Where can a waterless toilet be used?
Vehicles and campers, off-grid cabins, boats, worksites, emergency shelters, and bedside care in home-care and nursing settings.
